Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Donate $1M for Hurricane Relief: Heroes in Action

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have once again stepped up to help those in need, donating a generous $1 million to relief efforts for Hurricanes Helene and Milton, which have devastated states including Florida and North Carolina.

In a statement from Feeding America's CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, the couple’s contribution was praised for its impact: “We thank Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for their $1 million donation to our disaster relief fund for Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Their ongoing support in times of crisis has been invaluable, helping food banks provide essential items like water, ready-to-eat food, and critical supplies to communities suffering heartbreaking losses and a long road to recovery.”

Hurricane Helene has taken more than 227 lives, while Hurricane Milton has claimed at least seven lives in Florida, according to the New York Times. Milton also caused massive flooding and severe damage, even tearing the roof off Tampa’s Tropicana Field stadium, where rescue workers were stationed.

This isn't the first time the “It Ends With Us” star and the “Deadpool” actor have donated to critical causes. Just last year, during the Israel-Hamas War, they contributed $1 million to the International Committee of the Red Cross to support children affected by the conflict. During the COVID pandemic, they donated another $1 million to both Feeding America and Food Banks Canada. Their charitable work extends to supporting safe water initiatives, such as Water First Education & Training, and aiding the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Blake and Ryan continue to set a shining example for the world by giving back in times of crisis, reminding us all of the importance of helping others when it matters most.

Angelina Jolie Shines at TIFF Premiere with Son Pax After His Recovery | Without Blood Debut

In a heartwarming moment at the Toronto International Film Festival, Angelina Jolie, 49, brought a very special guest to the premiere of her new movie, Without Blood. Jolie was joined by her 20-year-old son, Pax, who had a behind-the-scenes role in the film, working on the Electronic Press Kit. The film, which Jolie directed and wrote, is a powerful drama set in the aftermath of a tragedy.

On the red carpet, the Oscar-winning actress and director posed for photos with Pax, who made headlines just two months earlier due to a serious e-bike accident. Jolie shared her relief, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I'm very happy he's healthy," while also noting how proud she is of his involvement in the project. Pax worked alongside his older brother, Maddox, 23, in the assistant director department, making this project a true family affair.

After the screening at TIFF Lightbox, Jolie and the film's stars, Salma Hayek and Demián Bichir, sat down for a Q&A moderated by TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey. As the session wrapped up, Pax stood with the audience in a standing ovation, showing his support for his mother and her remarkable work. Seated nearby was Hayek’s husband, François-Henri Pinault.

Without Blood is adapted from Alessandro Baricco’s novel and explores themes of family, war, and revenge. Jolie has been praised by Salma Hayek as "probably the best director I’ve ever worked with."
Jolie has always been passionate about involving her children in her creative ventures. Earlier this year, she revealed that her daughter Vivienne worked as a production assistant on The Outsiders, a Tony Award-winning musical adaptation that Jolie produced. “Viv is a young artist who focuses her efforts on her support of others,” she said.
In addition to Without Blood, Jolie’s latest film Maria, in which she portrays the iconic opera singer Maria Callas, has also premiered to strong reviews at both the Venice Film Festival and the Telluride Film Festival.

Princess Diana's Secret Dance Lessons: A Deep Dive into Her Private World

In 1981, just weeks after her grand royal wedding to Prince Charles, Princess Diana made an extraordinary request that would lead to a secret and deeply personal journey. She reached out to Anne Allan, a dancer and ballet mistress with the London City Ballet, asking for private dance lessons. What began as a professional arrangement soon blossomed into a deep and trusting friendship.

For the next nine years, in a private studio in London, Diana and Anne met for what would become hundreds of secret one-hour sessions. During this time, Diana was just 20 years old and navigating the overwhelming complexities of royal life. These lessons were more than just dance—they were a safe haven where Diana could express herself freely and confide in Anne about her personal struggles.

As Diana opened up to Anne, she shared some of the most intimate and challenging moments of her life. Early in their sessions, Diana confided that she was expecting her first child, a moment filled with joy and excitement. However, this happiness was often overshadowed by the increasing strain in her marriage to Charles and the pressures of her royal duties.

Despite the public's adoration of her as a mother, behind closed doors, Diana faced battles with bulimia, which she revealed to Anne in a moment of deep vulnerability. The eating disorder was a manifestation of the intense scrutiny and pressure she felt, and Anne became a confidante who offered support without judgment.

As the years passed, cracks in Diana's marriage to Charles became more apparent, and her sessions with Anne became a space where she could release her pain and frustrations. Anne recalls Diana's heartbreak as she grappled with the reality of her husband's infidelity, and the emotional toll it took on her.

Diana's desire to keep her family together, despite the immense challenges, speaks to her strength and resilience. Even as she faced her own struggles, she remained committed to being a loving mother to her sons, William and Harry.

Anne and Diana's professional relationship came to an end in 1989 when Anne moved to Scotland, but the impact of their time together was lasting. The world was stunned by Diana's tragic death in 1997, and like so many others, Anne was left to mourn the loss of her dear friend.

On the day of Diana's funeral, Anne joined millions in mourning the loss of the 'People's Princess.' She held a private vigil, surrounded by mementos from their time together, cherishing the memories of the woman she had come to know so well.

Princess Diana was more than just a royal figure—she was a complex, compassionate, and deeply human woman who found solace in dance during some of the most challenging years of her life. Anne Allan’s memoir, Dancing With Diana, offers a unique glimpse into this lesser-known side of Diana, revealing the strength and beauty she carried within."

Johnathon Schaech Says That Thing You Do! Co Star Tom Hanks Gave Him 'a Sense of Hope' in Career

From Hollywood star to dedicated family man, Johnathon Schaech has embarked on a journey that not only reshaped his career but also transformed his life. Join us as we dive into the inspiring story of an actor who found a new purpose away from the bright lights of Los Angeles.

Johnathon Schaech, best known for his role as Jimmy in the cult classic 'That Thing You Do!,' made a bold decision to leave Los Angeles and move to Nashville. It wasn’t an easy choice. At 54, he worried he might never work again after stepping away from the epicenter of his career. But Schaech chose family over fame, moving to Nashville to raise his two kids with his wife, Julie Solomon.

Just when he thought his acting days were behind him, the universe had other plans. Schaech was offered a role in 'Blue Ridge,' a 2020 crime drama where he starred as Sheriff Justin Wise—a character inspired by his own father, a former police officer from Baltimore. The role reignited his passion, leading to a TV series on the Cowboy Way Channel.

In a heartwarming twist, Schaech’s real-life father even made a special appearance in the show's season finale. Playing an older gentleman in the series, Schaech’s dad brought authenticity and emotion to the role, making it a truly unforgettable experience for both father and son.

The finale also saw the reunion of Schaech with his 'That Thing You Do!' co-star, Ethan Embry. The two have maintained a deep bond over the years, a brotherhood forged under the guidance of Tom Hanks, who instilled in them a work ethic that’s carried them through their careers.

Fatherhood brought about another major change in Schaech's life sobriety. Becoming a dad gave him a new perspective on life, encouraging him to be fully present for his children. His son Camden, who adores his dad’s 90s hit, can even sing the songs from 'That Thing You Do!' better than Schaech himself!

As Schaech approaches his 55th birthday, he sees this as the beginning of a new chapter—a chapter where he is in control of his story. From surviving Hollywood to overcoming personal demons, and finally finding peace and purpose with his family, Schaech’s journey is a testament to resilience and the power of taking ownership of one’s life.

Shoutout to rookie running back Carson Steele, who brought the energy with a touchdown, and kicker Harrison Butker, who nailed a 45-yard field goal.

One thing to keep an eye on this season is the new NFL kickoff rule. CBS Sports' Tyler Sullivan noted that the Chiefs struggled a bit with it during the game. It's definitely something they'll need to fine-tune as the season progresses.

Speaking of progress, Kelce had a whirlwind summer with none other than Taylor Swift. From attending her record-breaking Eras Tour across Europe to vacationing in the Bahamas and Italy, these two have been living the dream. With two more preseason games against the Lions and Bears coming up, Kelce and the Chiefs are gearing up for what promises to be an epic season. Mark your calendars for September 5th, when the Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens in the official season opener at Arrowhead Stadium. It's going to be a showdown you won't want to miss!
