Big news from the Duggar family! Counting On alum Jana Duggar, 35, has just announced that she’s pregnant with her first baby! Jana and her husband Stephen Wissmann shared the exciting update on Instagram, almost exactly one year after tying the knot.
In their announcement, the couple posted sweet photos — one of them sharing a kiss, and another showing off Jana’s growing baby bump. They wrote, “We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family! We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”
Jana and Stephen’s journey has been filled with love and milestones. Just last August, the two were married in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, in what Jana described as a “classic, elegant” wedding. Their ceremony at The Grand at Willow Springs was attended by about 500 guests. Jana’s sister Jessa Duggar Seewald was her maid of honor, and several of her sisters and sisters-in-law, including Abbie Duggar, Joy-Anna Forsyth, Johannah Duggar, Jinger Duggar Vuolo, and Jordyn Duggar, stood by her side as bridesmaids.
Before her big day, Jana admitted she had once wondered if marriage would ever happen for her. Speaking to PEOPLE at the time, she said, “For me, it felt like, ‘Okay, it’s never coming.’ But now it’s starting to sink in… It’s a dream come true.”
Jana also shared how Stephen truly won her heart. She explained that she was cautious at first, but over time, his loyalty and genuine care stood out. “He’s been a good friend over the years and has not pressured me in a lot of ways,” she said. “Through ups and downs, he has continued to be there, no matter what.”
Now, with a baby on the way, Jana and Stephen are stepping into an exciting new season of life — one filled with even more love and joy. Fans are thrilled to see the couple starting their family and can’t wait to meet their little one in January 2026.
